Pretentious theatre
Today we started our Sydney Festival experience. All I can say is that the only way is up.
The Passion of Simone was extremely well done and sung but why? It appeared to be the ranting of a woman with psychological and psychiatric problems who saw herself as a Christ figure.
The music was monotonous, the poor singer faced away from the audience and suffered for 80 minutes while rice fell on her. We enjoyed the Nick Cave exhibition first
