On the beach

A trip to Hythe on the Kent coast on a bright and mild day. We walked along the beach where there very few people except for some fishermen .

We browsed  the antique shops in the High Street and climbed up the hill by the old church where there are pretty little cottages and historical buildings with views down to the sea. We were surprised to see the rainbow as there was no rain.See extra.

We are staying in the Hythe Imperial Hotel and have just been to their pool and spa area. The renovated  hotel was built in 1880 and was constructed by south east railway. It has the tallest chandelier in Europe which descends four floors through the stairwell and is 11 metres high.

Looking forward to a cocktail in the bar and evening dinner in their restaurant .
