Thornton Hall, West Yorkshire

Thornton Hall is in the small village of Thornton on the outskirts of Bradford.  The village is the birthplace of the Bronte sisters and the hall is 16th century.  The Bronte girls would have seen it from their humble house further up the village.  It is claimed that it is perhaps the inspiration for Charlotte's Thornfield Hall in Jane Eyre.
Little bit of history for those of you further afield.

Today was a day for shopping.  First to buy some mountboard for some photos and then on to the supermarket for the groceries.

Spent the afternoon going through various folders of photos - I have so many that I think I need to be decisive and delete some.
