Highlight of the working day was definitely showing my class the clip of Jane and Michael Banks, from the original Mary Poppins, singing their letter asking for the perfect Nanny. We used it to inspire writing our own for the perfect friend. You could see their faces light up with the magic of this extremely old film even in just a 2 minute clip!
