Flower Friday (already!)

I decided I'd better sort out the Christmas bouquets today and throw away the dead flowers and leaves....this one still looked quite pretty so decided to photograph it instead. Is it a dahlia perhaps?


I set up a studio under the velux window in my craft room and worked out all the measurements to get front to back depth of field.

It was another of those days where I don't seem to have stopped but didn't get done what I wanted to do! My 10,000 steps a day have gone awry this week...tomorrow any housework needed will remain undone!
