STRUGGLING

I'm struggling with many important things right now, so much so that it is a relief to struggle with something that doesn't really matter. 

I tried out the various Picture Effect options on the new camera and then tried to make a collage of them in Lightroom.  It's supposed to be a reference point for future use, but it's not much help. Hmm...so much to learn. 

More importantly, the Prof took me to the woods for a muddy walk and then out to a local hostelry for lunch.  For the first time ever, I send back a dish I found completely inedible, in fact I think it was off.  Or maybe I was just feeling everything is sour right now.

But then the ten year old came on his weekly visit.  Even tho he is now tucked up and asleep, just having him nearby makes me absurdly happy.
