As The Sun Went Down

We walked part of the arboretum and bridle trails. Icy and muddy but yax trax did the job. Dozens of trees had been cut down in the woods, laying like matchsticks as far as the eye could see. Even with two layers of socks and my warmest boots, I lost touch with some of my toes. But oh it was great to be out there!
