Plan B

Yesterday, when we checked to see what excursion we were signed up for today in Kangaroo Island, we discovered that for some reason several months ago when we picked out the trips we wanted to go on, we thought that spending 8 1/2 hours on a bus trip -- of which 5 hours were dedicated to driving in said bus -- was a great idea.  Wisely, we changed our minds, and put ourselves on a waiting list for a shorter adventure, but sadly no room opened up, and we ended up spending the day aboard ship.  No matter.  Abundant sunshine, a fresh breeze, beautiful blue water, a bottle of Prosecco, some Scrabble and a good book made the day pass by splendidly.  Tomorrow we descend upon Adelaide.
