Out of the Parthenon

This evening I attended a meeting in the Central Library to hear Liz McGettigan, Library and Information Services Manager, talk about public library services in Edinburgh and it was excellent. Liz is a very inspirational speaker and has achieved an amazing amount for our city libraries.

Here's a quick blip I took while leaving work today. This is cast from the Parthenon, a temple on the Athenian Acropolis dedicated to the maiden goddess Athena.
