I see no pit

The Mosley common miner has been looking wistfully towards the old colliery since 2014. The pit was declared a Superpit in 1962 with a £17.5m refurbishment, only to close in 1968 with the loss of 3000 jobs I wonder what he would have made of the new Salford Quays, where we spent a pleasant afternoon with a little light shopping. With my first few days of health kick done, chatting to the manager in M and S, I learned that you can get shin splints floorwalking at Christmas (no wonder at 25,000 steps a day!)
