A&E

A very stupid slip of the knife whilst slicing a melon of all things started the day off badly with a trip to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital A&E before breakfast. Rather than wait an hour for the doctor, I persuaded the triage nurse to tape it up and release me. Have regretted refusing the offer of pain killers for the rest of the day. Very annoying and vomit inducingly painful!
