Be afraid?

I was a fan of "the day of the triffids" when it was a tv series in the 80's and this sign on the beach near our hotel scared me a bit! No sign of giant daffodils though...

After a lovely breakfast we did a beach walk to nearby Sandgate and back and then drove home the scenic way avoiding the motorway closure.
