Party!!

It's been a busy day.  Out early this morning for the boys to start 'Rugby' (mostly running around with rugby balls).  So that was 40 minutes of running around non-stop.  I then 'treated' us to a car wash - through a machine.  One boy thought it was 'very exciting' as he told me, the other thought it was awful, as the tears told me.  Quick trip around the supermarket before home for lunch and some tv (for the boys), cleaning the house (for me).  

Part late this afternoon in a neighboring village to where we used to live.  Took us all a bit of time to warm up into it, but ultimately, the boys had a fantastic time.  We had dinner out, two sausage rolls, four pieces of cake (between us), a cup of tea - all came to £2.20.... village hall food - my friend and I agreed we would happily have paid far more than that, and that the village hall fund it was going to could happily have our money.  

Late, late night for the boys.  I thought they would fall asleep in the car on the way home, but no.  Am hoping they will have a bit of a lie-in tomorrow rather than the body clock going off at 6.30am.  Fingers crossed.
