American Kestrel
I love these small raptors. They are actually the smallest and most common falcons in North America, about the size of a Mourning Dove. Because of him, I don't have an entry for Silly Saturday today, but he was too pretty to pass up! Thanks anyway to Admirer for hosting!
I am grateful for the lovely walk today with Piper and her dad. We played a dirty trick on Miss Piper, though, by taking her to get her way too long nails clipped before the walk. But she soon forgot about because she got a new bone and nice long walk on a beautiful day. :-)
