Christmas Creativity: Independence

I helped the Mrs run a workshop today to show people how to create their own Christmas table decorations and wreaths. (I hasten to point out that I claim no flower arranging skills: I was merely there to make coffee, move boxes around, serve lunch and sweep up at the end of the day.) A very successful - if busy - day and the participants all seemed to enjoy themselves and went away with their own personal creations.

The picture shows the work of three of the participants. Interesting how the designs of their arrangements varied, given that they all had the same basic guidance and the same range of materials to use. Perhaps this is an indication of their creativity and independence - a rather tenuous link to today's task from anuk's Advent Calendar Challenge.
