Whilst wandering around Chatham and environs in good company on either side of the change of year, we kept seeing this and wondering what it was. Our viewpoint was from the riverbank way round to the right of this image and it was impossible to say for certain if it was a building on land or floating on water. But now we know, it is clearly a building floating on water.

Behind it, on the opposite bank, steam arises from a large shed where the kind people of VeeTee are busy filling rice with so much love you can taste it.
