Sunday walk
Me, hubby and our daughter made a walk to the shore of Näsijärvi to see how the storm two weeks ago had molded icy shapes on trees and weeds.
Quite a remarkable natural exhibition!
Nice weather, still Grey day some - 8c. Yesterday would have been sunny, but I had too much household work to visit here... Hubby helped me and took this shot for me.
If you like to see around here is some shots more...
We also made a visit to Central Square as there's now a ice sculpture exhibition - show with sound and light. Similar to the one that has been in a woods of Ikuri Virelä area last years. These blocks of ice have been cut from the same lake by which we today walked. The ice have storaged from the Näsijärvi during last winter and kept in storage over summertime.
Lovely! Few shots here, if you are not able to visit there yourself
After sunset I made some ice lantern experiments in our garden, front yard
