Truro - Again

Another early start, not as early as Clare who is again on a Long Day, same time train to Truro as yesterday.
This time I walked from the station to Treliske hospital and still arrived my usual fifteen minutes early for my 09:15 appointment.
I was in and out in thirty minutes, treated quickly and efficiently and with humour. The humour part I guess comes with the job, NHS staff must be hugely frustrated by the ‘no shows’, while waiting I guess around 40% of the names called had no response and one who had their name called twice was just downright rude; “I’m not bloody deaf you know!!”  
Walked back to the station, train home and then a walk through town, having a coffee and picking up essential bits on the way home.

I’m still not 100%, sometimes the effort of walking up the hill leaves me breathless but I’m getting there.

A quick tidy up and preparing for Clare’s ‘Gin Club’ evening with her friends before a dinner of cod bites and garden peas, (no potato’s).
Joshua arrived home a little after ten, good to see him.
