Gales in the Dales

We decided to have a day off today - mainly because the jobs Frank needs to do now involve using noisy electric tools; the neighbours will therefore also have a day off!
We took Bella May for her walk first thing and had planned to go further than usual but the weather was atrocious, really strong winds and rain.
On the way we saw these beautiful Highland Cows and a small Belted Galloway in the distance.
The rest of the day so far has been quite lazy. I made some scones, Frank played guitar, Bella May has been snoozing and we're all cosy by the wood burner
