Wild Oban!

A rather wild day here. My daughter was coming over from Mull to catch the train to Edinburgh, but the 9am sailing from Craignure was cancelled and the 11am boat doubtful. So she came over on the Fishnish boat to Lochaline, drove for two hours round via the Corran Ferry to Oban and when I took her down for the train at midday the Mull ferry was just coming in! Very frustrating!

When I went down later to pick Mrs M up from the Glasgow train the Clansman was trying hard to dock. The propellor was raging and the crew were obviously having difficulty as the wind was coming right into the bay. They gradually winched her along to the gangway! Roll on spring!
