Pateley Bridge
We didn't look at the weather forecast and just set off with a Chino walk in the Dales in mind. The walk I love around Pateley Bridge was chosen and the weather was blowy, but pleasingly January fresh with sunny bits. Last time I did this walk was about 18 months ago, with fellow blippers, during the 1940s weekend there. Happy memories. (PS you can just about see the Coldstone Cuton the top of the hill!)
I was worrying though all through the walk, and still am now as Jess had to see the emergency doc this morning and has subsequently been admitted to hospital. The wee mamma to be is 23 weeks in and still suffering terribly with sickness. She's on a drip to rehydrate and has had injections to settle her tum. The wee fella she is carrying though is fine, though he's putting his mamma through it! Hopefully she will be discharged tomorrow.
