Backblip: a load of old bull

The bullring dominates the town here. Thankfully nothing happening at the moment.

Am I alone in recalling a time when the UK (popular?) Press routinely reported on bullfights and bullfighters? I got to wondering on why that should be. I think perhaps it was at the time when Brits first headed to the Costas in large numbers on package holidays. No doubt it was the tourist thing to do back then. Perhaps once they arrived home they liked to keep a flavour of their holiday. I don't know. Anybody who does, please fill me in.
