Cooking the Chilli

Today was a day for not having to rush around too much! 

I made the chilli at home to save time when we arrived at Jeri's. I enjoy cooking chilli - it smells yummy and isn't too complicated or requiring of much kitchen equipment! I smuggled in some extra veg, and with a bit of cheese on top I don't think the boys (Grandsons - not my two*, who like their veg!) sussed it was there!

It was good to see them all again and catch up on their news. Between us, Bri and I listened to Mal and Theo read - they are both making excellent progress! 

*I should probably stop referring to them as the Boys and just say Sons as they are 21 and 30 respectively! Still my boys though!
