Life on the river

We walked along the Thanes to Twickenham and this boat has been here for years but I’ve never seen the owner. Each year it gets bigger and there’s a raft for plants and wildlife attached to it and an assortment of what may be needed on the bank.
I have no idea who’s boat it is but it could be someone who was very successful and respectable and made a choice to change and to live differently.
