Human Beat Box versus Inhuman Beat-Up Boxes

Strolling through the historic centro always yields something in the way of weirdness.

This odd little scene was snapped on the street on the way to the Zocalo.

A guy doing some pretty spectacular beat-boxing (using a 2nd mike pressed against his neck, at one stage, to add to the complexity of what he was doing) was pitching for business right beside some guys dressed up in weird, sci-fi, alien-warrior get-up.

For a little while I was hoping they were all part of the same act and that the robots might fling themselves to the floor, bodypopping as only aliens or robots can.

But, unfortunately that never happened. In fact, the robots were incredibly shy and wary of being (by me at any rate) snapped.

Never a dull day in and around the city centre.
