Stay and make.

Today all the parents of children in year 2 were asked to stay for an hour after the start of school to help their child(ren) with their new topic for this term; Isambard Kingdom Brunel. After initially asking the children what they knew about the famous engineer, we were asked to help make a picture of a ship using tissue paper for the background and black paper for the ship. This is Theo's and my creation. Theo will be going on a school trip next month to see the SS Great Britain.
