Against the light
Up at OGH this morning at the crack of dawn. The security company have installed a new mother board into our system. This has been dragging on for months - but the Government finally accepted the quote, and the work has been done. Even better, although we offered to pay half, they are not expecting us to fork out.
Pretty hot out there today, so pleased to be back in air-conditioned comfort.
Talking of which, I got our electricity bill today. South Australians pay more for for electricity than just about anyone else in the world, and I was expecting a bill the size of the national debt. Very pleasantly surprised. It's less than it's been for a couple of years. Perhaps finally prices are starting to drop.
The swan plants are in full flower right now - major food source for the monarch butterflies. I believe that populations are decreasing in parts of North America, so you'll be pleased to know that we have thousands in the Belair NP.
