Sorry I woke you up!!!

The sun was shining so I spent most of the day in the garden; it was lovely and I got a lot done. When I was removing some ivy that was invading my yard I saw this little ladybug crawling on a leaf. I gentle picked up the leaf and moved her to an area with filtered sunlight; she climbed onto this branch and crawled to the end. I liked this shot since there was some lichen on the branch right above the little beauty. There are many different kinds of Ladybug, also called Lady Bird or Lady Beetle, this one seems to be a beneficial Ladybug so I hope she survives. She crawled around for quite awhile, then she stretched allowing her wings to appear.......she did this several times before she finally flew away home!
