Sunday: Ginger Salad

It was a beautifully sunny day today so K. and I took a walk into the neighbourhood. We both had book vouchers to spend from Christmas and had a great time spending them. We now have four more books to add to the growing pile of unread banks. I like to think of it as planning ahead for retirement.

We had a very tasty lunch at a newly opened noodle restaurant.

This evening we met up with H and J for a Burmese meal in east Vancouver. It was a first for all of us and is the latest in our alphabetical eating challenge. So far, we have done A for Afghan and tonight was obviously B for Burmese. It's our turn to choose C and we have something very nifty in mind for that. The Burmese was delicious so we need to maintain a pretty good standard.
