One of a family of Five Swans

 I decided to take a telephoto lens with me on my walk today but I didn't really need it on its full extension to take this shot. There was the family of five swans, that I have been following all summer, they were following the tide in as began filling up Elizabeth dock, the young ones still have a bit of their brown feathers but are almost as large as their parents. I took plenty of shots but try as I may I could not catch them all either in line or all looking in the same direction. With the water being shallow the young kept putting their heads under the water looking for food churned up by their webbed feet. I decided I would wait until I could capture one of the parents, for this I didn't to wait long.
