This Quiet Place...

.....was the scene of a tragic end for a 17 year old girl 44 years ago. Lesley Whittle had been kidnapped by Donald Neilson, also known as the "Black Panther." He had hidden her in a drainage shaft at this reservoir with a noose around her neck. When she was eventually found, it was too late, she was dead. Neilson had previously murdered three other people. He died in prison 7 years ago.
