Gloster Gladiator

I had time before dark to drive past Old Warden, something I hadn't done for a while.  Nothing interesting was flying or out on the grass, but I saw this lovely old girl in the Engineering Hangar before I left.

I took this photo through the glass of the doors to the hangar, but it doesn't look too bad for all that.  It's a beautiful aircraft and has been with the Collection since 1960, it appears.

I'll never fly this sort of aircraft now, but I can dream . . .
