Diving

We have had a plethora of pelicans on the playa this year. Today while waiting for volleyball to get going, I wandered down the beach to where they were diving for dinner (a lot of alliteration today, I must be in a poetic mood). My best of the hundred or so I took was this pelican in high-speed dive mode with a neutral ocean background. I'm going to have to get back with my "real" camera and see if I can get a sharper image, but this will have to do for the time being.
