The peaceful day
Today was my first day back at nursery, and it was lovely, despite being a full day. We've jiggled the rotas around a bit to make for greater harmony among the children. We got outside quite a bit, too.
Afterwards I went up to the cinema to get tickets for Stan and Ollie. On the way out, I bumped into a bunch of friends who'd been to see The Favourite. They weren't overly impressed with it.
I took myself off around town, returning to meet
Steve in time to go in for our film. We booth thought it was well-acted, and sad. I hadn't known much about it, but am a fan of Steve Coogan's acting. Glad I went to see it.
Back home, I had to cook supper and phone my.mother, who wants to set the wheels turning to let out our family home, now that my sister is no longer living there. The house is beautifully situated in the shores of Loch Etive but my goodness! it's going to need some work.
The WEA new literature term starts tomorrow, and the new history tutor has a hundred questions to ask me per week. Meanwhile, the greetings card stock that I sell has moved to Notts, and my order hasn't arrived yet. Annoying, but I am quite calm, considering that it's Monday.
I am.not quite as chilled as our cat Bomble, however. That would not be humanly possible.
