Fergus at Westport Beach

10.1C with thin cloud and occasional bright spells. WSW/SW wind to 23 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Apothecary7's day off.

We went to Westport beach mid morning and had a long walk along towards Machrihanish. Plenty of waves to look at as we walked along and lots of salty spray in the air. The second burn that crosses the beach was running fast but we found a place to splash across. Fergus had a good free run along beside the dunes all the way from the first burn to the seat at the back of the beach where he is sensible enough to stop and wait for us. We sat for a while and watched the waves before walking back.

We went to Glenbarr for lunch. Fergus sat in the car, and when we came out he got the little biscuit that comes with a tea or coffee.
