Thornham Stumps
These are remnants of trees, presumably in the past they were above sea level and able to flourish. In support of this theory is the documented rise in sea level generally and the tilting of the UK such that its south eastern part is sinking and the northern and western parts chiefly Scotland are rising. The sea and some wind turbines are in the distance, due north. During spring high tides this area is covered and the tips of the stumps poke through the surface. see
The stumps are atmospheric and mysterious with postures that suggest friendship and conversation - in my imagination!
