Iceberg Alley

Back blip - but only by about seven months!

Another early start, this time to catch the ferry back to Newfoundland. Our destination was St Anthony on the far north-west tip of the island.

We arrived in the afternoon and had a tour around the historic Dr Wilfred Grenfell properties before joining a boat tour out into the bay and part of what is known as 'Iceberg Alley'. Some of the icebergs we saw were quite spectacular - hard for those of us from Europe (even northern Europe) to remember it was still June!
