Male Chaffinch

It started raining last night and was still raining this morning, this turned to sleet and finally snow again. However, it did not last long before it was back to raining again. It is also windy and quite cold out, but then this is winter.

I have not achieved very much today. I had to go and look after my granddaughter for a while this morning as she had been sent home from school poorly and by the time her Mum got back and I was home again it was after lunch.

I took some pictures before I went out and decided on this male Chaffinch, again taken through the kitchen window so could be sharper, but it is now too dark to photograph anything else outside.
