A modern Parliament

Unusually I was out at a meeting nearby for a brief period this morning and walked back round the front of the Parliament instead of via the so called “pass holders “ entrance.

I was struck again by the clean lines and simple appearance of what is a modern , accessible Parliament - a huge contrast to the convoluted , archaic procedures we were all witnessing on tv just a few hours later.

I still cannot believe that a Prime Minister who loses her key policy by an enormous 230 majority and has the biggest ever rebellion in her own party can remain Prime Minister for long. But as I also keep observing , the normal rules of politics seem to have ceased to function during Brexit.
