Day 341

Really should of worn ice skates rather than shoes this morning to take H to school.

At least I managed to stay upright though. Unlike H, who's bottom will most likely have several bruises on it by tonight.

It was a morning of slipping and sliding, frozen car doors, skidding tyres and, of course, the obligatory frozen knees in order to get my blip (I never learn). And yes, that is thick, glass-like, bubbly frost in the centre of the photo and it's what the ground was like all the way to school (hence the need for ice skates).

Tonight I will mostly be drinking wine in my pjs whilst keeping warm and dry under a blanket. Because I really know how to live it up on a Friday night.
