Friday cake

Such a lovely day, out "gallivanting" as Jay would say. Out for a wander round town and then for lunch with birthday lady Marie. Picked children up from respective schools, bought a Christmas tree from the Christmas tree man. He will very nicely deliver it after he finishes work. I hope.

This bakery is old fashioned in that it bakes its own bread and has a marvellous array of cakes. It is a lovely place, I always think it could be a jewellers, the window displays look so shiny and golden. Will chose a small beautiful cup cake, Daisy went for a large, flamboyant number which cost half the price. There is probably a message there, can't think what it is.
