On the Abel Tasman Track....

Today a party of six of us took the “SeaShuttle” Catamaran up the coast to the Abel Tasman National Park. Our party consisted of three adults, 15 year old Emily and two lads of ten and nine. We disembarked at Medlands Beach near Bark Bay then walked via Tonga Quarry, “Big Tonga” Beach, the Tonga Saddle and up and over then down to the Awaroa Lodge in the Awaroa Inlet. We had afternoon tea at the Lodge then walked to the Awaroa Beach to await the SeaShuttle Catarmaran for our return to Kaiteriteri.
