Marmalade, daffs and snow

It's that time!
We used to joke with my Mum that we always had our first snow in the week she bought Seville oranges. Bought mine today and lo and behold snow is forecast for here on Friday.
I have mislaid Mum's marmalade recipe so better get onto one of my sisters for it!
Had a brisk, drippy walk with a pal round Alderley Edge woods this morning just as it started to come light. Energised us both for the day. It's noticably lighter in the evenings now and our sunrises have been getting earlier for a week now so we can look forward to seeing the difference there too. Yay!
