First snowdrops

These are the first snowdrops I have seen around here.  The ones in the churchyard have not emerged yet.  This morning I prepared two loaves for baking and made a vat of black kale, potato and stilton soup, some of which I had for lunch.  It was very tasty.  In the afternoon C. and C. came round for tea and cake and I sent off a lot of emails trying to progress the purchase of the shop.  The solicitor has done nothing for a month and the landlord is now saying if we don't get a move on, it will go on the open market. There are VAT complications but it should really be the solicitor chasing me for clarifications and not the other way round!
