Playing the odds...

The Granddaddy of all the mountain weather forecasts is MWIS. The Mountain Weather Information Service, the beautiful brainchild of Geoff Monk. 
But it is only a forecast. 

Chance of rain - "heavy squally showers, some snow" . Nope noppity no no, then, yep. 

Wind gusting to 50mph... well it certainly had its moments, but meh. 


How cold on the tops? "Where exposed to wind feeling - 10°C" well done Geoff and the gang, spot on, brrrrrr

Sunshine? "Bursts of sun through the day, good visibility" you appear to have missed out the word stunning. 

Some days it really does pay off to knuckle down, get out there and feed the soul.
