Freight yard buildings done

Today I finished the placing buildings and scenery at the little freight yard in Dolores.  The group of structures consists of (left to right), the crew bunkhouse outhouse, crew bunkhouse, coal bunker, section car storage shed, and storage shed (old boxcar).  The scenery is done around the buildings, but not on the side of the track at the bottom.  This is the first install of aspens.  I did not make these - they are from the McKensie Brothers trees.  I have been patiently waiting.

The extras are a close up of the section car shed with speeder car kit and trailers.  Lots of little detail parts for clutter. The storage boxcar, and the yard master's shed which is off to the right on the blip.  The area around that building is not scenic as yet = until I get the wood shop (furniture and caskets) built.  In the old west, the cabinet makers were often the undertaker and casket makers.  An odd combination but......

Next project for the Sn3 will be the Majestic Hardware store (a Bar Mills Kit), and the freight house (Wild West kit).  In between finishing this current scene, I have started several small projects on the N scale layout, plus running trains there..
