Marriage Equality in Washington State!

Thursday, December 6th 2012, marked the very first day same sex couples could apply for marriage licenses in the state of Washington. Legal equality was voted in this past November and couples were lined up overnight to apply for their marriage licenses! Big R said he saw them lined up in the wee hours when he went into work. It's a great day that has been long in coming. We have friends who can and will now marry....we are happy for them to finally have the same legal equality we have had in being able to marry.
