Leaving the Vortex of Kentucky

I thought the bad vortex of Bowling Green was going to draw us in for another day (we've been here since Saturday night.) The dealership GUARANTEED me that the van would be done at high noon. At 2 p.m., they still hadn't called. Finally, about 2:30 they called, and by 3 p.m., we hit the road.

We drove a little over 300 miles, and are spending the night in Plattville, Alabama, about 15 miles North of the capital city of Montgomery. Tired, and ready for bed.

The red swirly thing was on the wall of the lobby of our old Kentucky home. It was a nice hotel, but I hope we NEVER see it again. ;0)

Onward and upward...with perhaps a Blipmeet on the schedule for tomorrow. ?????
