For you the sun will be shining

Today Mrs Soup, Bob and I attended the last goodbye to Chris, Mavis' husband, who sadly died on 13 November.

Chris had a lot of family and friends who attended the chapel, with people standing. It was a lovely service and very personal, with tributes from family members. Mavis looked elegant and I am sure Chris would have be proud of her. Her choice for reflection music, Songbird by Eva Cassidy, was perfect - and the sun even came out as the song played.

A fitting tribute to a lovely man

While we were waiting for the start of the ceremony we saw these rather fine horses being used for another funeral.
