The Beehive..

Hey...This has nothing to do with Bumblebee a couple of days ago. Thats was a "transformer" thingie and not much "transforming" goes on here as this is our centre of government for NZ and you should note that it has not been painted white altho Mr D from a couple of days back would no doubt have a ball grinding round the corridors uttering "EXTERMINATE" to the politicians therein. 
Built in 1969 it has withstood political mayhem (minor this is New Zealand OK?) and earthquakes and you can get a tour but dogs are probably not allowed except SSD's are OK.
You go past it on the way to the Botanical Gardens as we did this morning.
